How We Check Menu Prices

A useful menu price needs context. We show the source, document edition where available, and the limits of what was checked.

Published PDF prices

Amounts copied from a restaurant-hosted PDF are labeled as published reference prices. The source edition is shown. Retrieving an older document today does not make its prices newly verified at a restaurant register.

Advertised starting prices

A “starting at” offer is shown as a starting amount. It is not assigned to every item mentioned in that offer unless the restaurant confirms each price.

Location prices needed

When a restaurant requires a location, we link to its official menu and leave amounts unconfirmed. We do not invent a national average or substitute Canadian prices for US prices.

What to check before ordering

Compare the location, item size, included sides, ordering channel, taxes, additions, and delivery fees. Check limited offers with the restaurant before relying on them.

Reviews and corrections

Source review dates describe when a source was inspected. They do not promise live updates. A correction should include a restaurant name, location, item, amount, date, channel, and an official link or readable receipt.
